Streaming music service WiMP has announced partnerships in two countries this week. In Pakistan, WiMP has been chosen as the music partner for Telenor Pakistan. Telenor will act as a reseller for WiMP, and bundle the music service into mobile subscriptions. WiMP is already partnering with Telenor in Norway and Denmark.
Oslo bbased WiMP also announced a similar deal with T-Mobile in Poland. T-Mobile is the second mobile operator to partner there WiMP there. Play is already reselling the music service in Poland, along with cable operator nc+.
In addition to options for higher quality, WiMP differentiates itself from competitors with extensive local editor teams providing recommendations, backgorund and music news.
