New Merch Tool For Creatives – Form Investigates

If you’ve been looking for a more creative way to sell merch then Print All Over Me could be for you. They provide an online platform that allows anyone to create, share, own, and produce their designs by uploading artwork. They have a number of products but the most popular offering is a basic T-shirt.

I spoke with vintage camera collector and Adhesive Sounds electronic artist Form about his experiences using Print All Over Me.

-WHY DO IT?-

“I use my images to represent my music often. I just released a Body lvl / Hobo Cubes split, and a Form cassette with Adhesive Sounds, and we used some of my photography to decorate those tapes. Adhesive Sounds is also using some of my photography for other releases. I like to think of my music and my photography as separate entities that sometimes interact. Important note: I do not photoshop the effects on my photos. Any trippy stuff is done through double exposure, cross processed slide film, film soup, expired film, specialty film, or light leaks.”

-WHAT’S THE PROCESS?-

“Print All Over Me is fairly easy to use, and getting my shop up and running was not too hard. I needed to format my photos to the correct colour pallet, dimensions, and dpi. Choosing the photos was more difficult, and it took me a while to comb through the thousands of photos I have.”

-WHY IS IT SWEET?-

“I love film photography, and I care very little for digital. Film photography has real soul and beauty. The act of imprinting light on an emulsion is almost miraculous, and then developing that emulsion and producing a print is divine. It is as if the soul of the subject is preserved through film.
